Paper feed problems Xerox C2428

I bought a faulty Docuprint C2428 A3 colour laser at auction. Fault was 'replace drum U2' I have replaced the drum and waste toner bottle. It now says 'Ready to print'. So far so good. I have tried printing reports off the menu. 'Paper jam' error comes up. The paper is not jammed, it is not feeding through. Out of tray 1 it makes it nearly up to the main drum. Out of tray 2 it makes it only part way up. That would seem to point to a roller, or clutch, down low only partially working? Inside was a bit of a mess with dust everywhere, I'm suspecting this machine has been tipped up at some stage, I have vacuumed it out. I'm new to these machines and some assistance would be greatly appreciated.

It can happen if the drum is ever so slightly pulled out of place. It can happen when removing waste toner bottle. Turn off the machine, remove toner\developer unit, remove waste toner tank and press firmly on the grey area to fully reseat the drum

It tells me to replace the imaging unit i did but it still is telling me to replace the imaging unit any tips on how to resolve this?

sorry about my last reply. you have to replace the selenium DRUM, its a big drum inside the printer under the toner. It cost 150USD... kinda hate Samsung right?

you can also just take it out, shake it left to right several times and put it back and see if you still get the error.

"Pull down the front cover and you have access to the four toner cartridges, which are lined up, one above the other, inside. Unlike many recent colour laser designs, the drum unit is separate from each of these cartridges and has a different lifespan, as does the toner waste bottle, which also needs replacing periodically. "

Samsung has a chip that counts the number of prints you do. After X prints, it wil make you change the toner even if you do not need to. Also you have to replace the selenium drum and also the waste toner bin... I HATE SAMSUMG from now on... CHEATERS

Call for service error 7410:0112053 on Kyocera FS3900 DN

most likely the drum popped out.
open the left side cover and remove the waste toner bottle..seated just above the waste toner on the drum unit that sits above will here it pop back into place .. if you hear it snap back it simply power off than back on printer....
if the drum is seated correctly.. than you need to replace the drum unit

Waste toner disposal procedure

It's not recommended to empty this as it contains 4 colored toners and you would heve to ensure that the light sensor sees completely clear in the view area. Replace the bottle with type 155 waste toner bottle (about $25) from on line supplier. To do this is simply a matter of opening the right side cover and sliding the green lock lever to the unlock position. Then remove the bottle and replace. Don't forget to slide the green lock lever to the lock position and close the cover.

Kyocera fs 1750

First check the neck of the bottle and clean it if dirty
secondly if this does not cure the fault then the sensor in the drum assembly is probably dirty. You will ether have to strip off the end of the drum and clean the led and photo sensor or replace the drum unit.
