I need remote code for my Sony Home Theater System (HDX500/I). I want to operate the home theater through my Remote control which came with Panasonic Plasma HDTV (TH-PZ77U)
I have the same problem.

Need a code for my comcast remote (5 digits) to operate my Sony DAV - HDX500
Comcast instruction leaflet does not have a working code listed.

same issue-- would like to control the theatre system with my cable DVR remote (cable one). I've tried every sony code w/ no success.

I found a sony code that will work with my cable dvr box for volume, power, the basics...

Get a Logitech Harmony 880 universal remote. I have it operating my home theatre, TV, iPod and cable just fine - all with one remote.
