Question about Canon PowerShot A95 Digital Camera
A couple of weeks ago, an otherwise excellent outdoor photo had some pale horizontal lines on the upper part of the image - a dozen perhaps. Since then the camera has become unusable, the viewfinder image being virtually unreadable with vertical elongation and the only colours being shades of pink. Batteries are good,; have returned settings to Default, to no avail.
The camera is about 5 years old and has given faultless service and great pleasure. I want to keep using it!
I don't blame you for wanting to keep it, the A95 was and still is a great camera. This problem sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check this link for more info.
