My tmobile dash power button isnt working

This is extreme, but my Dash phone is alive again. After pushing the power button HARD! for an hour, I broke the button, and pushed it inside the phone. I ripped the button out of the phone with a knife, and carved away the plastic so I could see the circuit board inside. (about a 1/4" x 1/4" hole). Looking in, there are 2 empty holes in the middle -the former mounting legs for the button. To the left are 2 leads (solder points), to the right there are 3 solder points. Using a screwdriver, I jumped (made a connection) with the 2 leads closest to the edge of the 1st solder joint to the left of the holes, and 1st solder joint to the right of the holes, and it powered up. I will cover the hole with black electrical tape. I build prototypes for architects for a living, so this is a successful solution.

Power button doesn't work

Nope, you need the power button to work. It's the heart of the phone. Call your phone company, get a replacement and have them back up your data at the nearest store. Good luck

Palm TX power button and touchscreen

We have three TX's in our family with non-working power buttons. I downloaded the program Au Dodo and simply now use the far left button (button 1) as my 'power' button. It works wonderfully.

I haven't found out how to fix the calibration problem, but power on/off has been totally fixed. Good luck for you.

Power on button on Tungsten E2 does not work

Potentially because of dust on button. Use star tool to take apart and canned air to blow out

The palm powered icon

To do a hard reset, hold down the power button, press the little reset button, release it, then release the power button.

Make sure you back up your TX first.

Palm tx power button

1) try a soft reset
2) If that doesn't work, you must go to to find a power hard button replacer.

Good luck

Pd: my unit has random power button malfunctions too.
