If your compressor has a reset button its going to be right next to where the power cord goes into the motor , most times there red but not allways , also air compressors use a demand switch as well , there usually is a manual off lever on the side of these , this will interrupt the automatic start feature of the compressor and wont allow it to run , just follow the power plug wire the little "possibly grey " box it comes too is the demand switch

Need a manual for my air compressor #15310

Hi jhuson396,

Welcome to fixya!

You will need to supply more information, like the Brand name of your air compressor and a complete model number. I did a search and found that Sears carries several air compressors with that model number under the Craftsman name. Is this the correct brand? Also, Sears model numbers are in the sequence ***.xxxxxxx and so forth, always 3 numbers a dot and then the rest of the numbers.

Please reply back with that information and I'll be happy to assist you.

Thanks,

Handie Andie

I have an older Sears Craftsman air compressor 1hp, 100 psi twin cyl Model 106.154541. on the cyl base there is an oil fill directly across from this on the opposite side of the cyl base there is another...

The pump used on your compressor was incorporated into different designs thus needed access to oil fill from one side or the other. Part number for oil plug was std-220 or 27642, but you can use just regular standard pipe thread plug with square head. If the oil plug fits the other hole. Buy plumbing parts at Lowes. Good Luck

I purchased a used Craftsman 2 HP 20 Gal air compressor, model # 919.176220. I'm looking for a copy of the user manual, Sears # SI-30-14-4-C. This item is no longer available from Sears.com and doesn't...

Since the exact model number manual is not available go to Sears and look at the compressors they have on the floor (or in the catalog). Find one that looks like the one you have and note the model number (these devices haven't changed much over the years). order the manual for the one that matches your machine the best.

I have a Sears 3 H.P. electric 30 gal air compressor

This link will take you to sears web site, where parts are available. I have linked you to the parts list. If this does not take you there, go to www.sears.com and click on the parts direct tab and enter your model number.

I am trying to locate an owners manual for a sears compressor

I can help you. The motor name plate will give you the connections for the different voltage if it is a 'dual voltage' motor. Check the name plate on the motor.
May I ask why you want to change it. Contrary to popular belief, It won't make it cheaper to run.

I have a craftman oiless air compressor model # 919153210 that I need parts for and sears do not carry the part anymore. thank you for any help., [email protected]

Many of Sears oilfree compressors were made by Devilbiss. Try going to this address http://www.devilbissparts.com/ and enter your sears part numbers. (example cac-4281 for valve plate) They will most likely have the parts that you need. Good luck and email if you have other questions about your conpressor.
