I have a tectrix personal climber that just wont turn on. It is a mid 90's unit. It was working fine, then I went to turn it on to work out and it just did not turn on. Any suggestions?

Those are always marked on the bearing shield itself. Look for a number that looks like this: RS 6802 RS or 6104 R.... it will be a letter/3 or 4 digit number/ letter combination.

No I believe that switch is the problem your Tectrix PC Is part of Cybex International and their phone # is1-800-677-6544 now if they do not have this part then call National Gym Supply @ 1-800 496-7278 the Personal Climber and The Climax ( commercial unit) uses the same switch assembly.

Mine did that and I had to have the clutch replaced. The cost to order a part and have a tech come out to perform the repair was about $200.00

Where can I find the power cord & supply for a Tectrix Personal Climber 304021 OR can anyone tell me what the AC output and amperage is for the external power supply so I can improvise.

I do not remember them having an external power supply, just a cord - does this one look like it will work?

Error 5, No Slack, Cybex/Tectrix Climbmax 2000/3000, 700S and 800S Steppers Probable Cause An error 5 on the Tectrix Climbmax models 2000 and 3000 as well as Cybex stepper models 700S and 800S indicates the following:
a) Test switch is in test mode.
b) Possible cut in display cable.
Corrective Action a) Adjust slack switch.
b) Inspect display cable; Replace cable if necessary.

Having a problem with a tectrix climbmax1000 error 6 keeps flashing and the steps are locked up wont move

6 No Brake Adjust slack switch or replace motor
Error 6 means no brake. Try adjusting the slack switch or replace the motor.
