SOURCE: Tried to unlock Lexar SD 2GB and Lexar SDHC 4 GB - No luck

First of all, the 4GB card will never be able to work in your camera. Check on its face. It likely says SDHC, and SDHC cards as this format came out after your camera was designed (I know it looks exactly like a normal SD card, but it's not).

Now the 2GB card should work with your camera as it is a standard SD card. Remove the card from your camera. Look on the side of the card for the tiny slide switch, and slide it to the other "unlocked" position. Reinsert it in the camera, and see if that corrects the problem.

SOURCE: my camera wont let me use an sd card

There have been two other posts in this camera's forum about this problem, you could've saved yourself a lot of trouble by reading through the other posts.
This camera only supports an SD card of 1GB maximum. The specifications on page 25 of the User's Manual state that only SD cards between 8MB and 1GB in size can be used in this camera. When I tried a larger-capacity 2GB SD card in this camera it reported that the card needed to be formatted even though the SD card worked fine in my desktop PC's SD card slot. Verify that the capacity of the SD card you're trying to use is 1GB or less.

all scanners made scan and send the files to the PC, the software for it scans as saves them on the PC, where you told it.

my guess you see those photos there w10

and you have no permissions to change them.
well login to w10 as admin, and delete them.
or change sharing rules as you see fit there.

some software there fails on mac, but not simple scans./
or is this a SD card question only
the scanner must be on to see the SD card on the PC,
or ask them,
tell them the model they can't guess either.

My Vupoint Solution Magic Wand turns on but when I try to scan something, I press the scan button there's a full message blinking on the SD card on the display screen. and the scan light won't turn on

Setting date/time may solve the problem. Memory chips want that.
It's done on the screen with enter and up/down buttons.
Connect the USB next.
Check computer for files saved on the microSD.
You should be able to delete or format if it really is full.

VuPoint Magic Wand scanner. I'm very happy with the quality of the scans, but the problem is that the PDF and JPEG files that it creates, even on low, mono resolution, are huge.

Look for the firmware update for your specific model and download and install make sure you choose the right model. You can mess up your scanner completley if you choose the wrong one. Software Driver Downloads User Manuals Warranty Card

How do you delete pictures and copies from the VuPoint Magic Wand?

Your VuPoint Magic Wand scanner should have come with a USB cable. Use the cable to connect the scanner to your PC, and the memory card in the scanner appears as a removable drive in Windows Explorer. Deleting files from the card is just like deleting files in any Windows folder -- just highlight them and press the Delete key.

How is the VuPoint Magic Wand S/N-000-005-5278, actually used. Also once the scanning is completed how are the scammed objects transfered to my computer. I have never used a scanner before and I am...

The VuPoint PDS-ST410-VP Magic Wand Scanner is very easy to use. Turn the power on, press SCAN, scan the document by slowly dragging it over the idem being scanned. When finished, the SCAN light will go out automatically.

There are two different ways to copy the files to your PC or Mac:

1. Use the included USB cable (I lost mine but found another at a computer store for $5 and it works perfectly), insert the USB cable into your PC or Mac, and it will appear as another disk drive. Simply copy and drag files in Windows Explorer or Mac's Finder, just as you would any other files.

2. Remove the MicroSD card from the scanner and insert it into your computer's SD slot (if it has one). Most people will need to use a MicroSD-to-SD adapter. It probably came free when you purchased the MicroSD card. If not, you can buy them for $1 or so. It will appear as another disk drive. Simply copy and drag files in Windows Explorer or Mac's Finder, just as you would any other files.

Simple.

It takes longer to describe than it does to do it.
