Re: Change ink cartridge
The printer must be powered ON before you lift the scanning unit.
The cartridge holder will move to the left after you lift the
scanner. Pull the scanning unit support down to hold it in
place. Now you can replace the old cartridge.

First make sure that the printer is on and the front cover and output tray are open. Next open the paper output cover by rotating it down towards the output tray. The ink cartridge carrier should move to the ink replacement position on the right side of the printer. Push the cartridge lock lever down until it clicks to unlock the cartridge that you need to replace. (The color cartridge is on the left.) Pull the cartridge towards yourself to remove it. Now open the replacement cartridge packaging and remove the protective tape from the cartridge. Push the new cartridge fully into the open spot from removing the old cartridge. (The label should be up and the copper covered sections should be down and facing forward.) Now push the cartridge lever lock up to lock the cartridge in place. If the lever doesn't move, check that the cartridge is fully forward in the slot. Finally close the paper output cover. Wait for the printer to complete the print head clean cycle before using the all-in-one.
Note: only remove and replace one cartridge at a time. Work quickly to minimize the chance of the ink system drying out after removing the protective tape.

If you need to change a cartridge before it or any other cartridges are low or expended, run the Ink Cartridge Replacement utility.
You cannot print or copy when an ink cartridge is expended even if the other cartridges are not expended. Replace any expended cartridges before printing or copying.
Leave your old cartridges in the Epson Stylus NX110 Series until you are ready to replace them to prevent the print head nozzles from drying out. When an installed ink cartridge is more than six months old, you may need to replace it if your printouts do not look their best, even after cleaning and aligning the print head. Follow the instructions in these sections to check and replace your ink cartridges: Replace Cartridges Using a Printer Software Utility For best printing results, use up a cartridge within six months of opening the package. If you need to replace a cartridge when the ink light is flashing or off (before the cartridge is expended), you can run the Ink Cartridge Replacement utility.
1. Windows: Right-click the printer icon in the bottom right corner of your screen (the taskbar) and select Printer Settings. Click the Maintenance tab. Macintosh: Open the Applications folder, open EPSON Printer Utility3, select your printer (if necessary), and click OK.
You see one of these screen SEE ATTACHMENT BELOW
2. Click the Ink Cartridge Replacement utility icon and follow the on-screen instructions to replace your ink cartridges as necessary
1 - Open the top lid
2 - Open the ink cartridge carrier
3 - Shake the ink cartridges
4 - Unpack the ink cartridges
5 - Remove the yellow tape from each cartridge as you get ready to install it, but not before
6 - Install each color cartridge into its corresponding color slot pressing down all the way until it "clicks"
7 - Close the ink cartridge carrier
8 - Close the top lid
At this point the printer should charge its ink cartridges. Let this finish before using your printer.
Hope this helps!
Usually the printer manual will have instructions on changing the cartridge. If you don't have a manual, there is a chance you can find one online by googling the make and model number. On some printers the cartridges center when you open a door to access them, or lift a lid or a scanner deck, or turn off or turn on the printer.
