Hi there. HiD Data is basically a control driver base located in the system 32 file bank. these drivers control mouse, game controllers and keyboard functions as well. Usually when this message box comes up, it is signaling a sudden change that may have occurred during a failed boot session or, sudden change in the windows system 32 file base. these sudden changes can happen when there is a windows update that isn't quite compatible with the current version of one or more of the HID driver components or, if the OS has experienced a virus hit or , malware.

This may not be an issue at this time but, if the message box frequency level increases, i would recommend reinstalling the OS by using the repair option or, the restore feature.

Hi, you can check which version of Windows you have by clicking on the Start button (the Vista orb) and from the Start menu, right click on Computer. Choose Properties from the menu that appears, and you'll see a lot of information about your computer. There should be a line that says whether you have a 32-bit version of Vista or a 64-bit version. Depending on which version you have, you'll need to download the compatible version of iTunes. You can download both versions here:

http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

For the 32-bit version, click the Download Now button; for the 64-bit version, scroll down to where you see the link for 64-bit installer on the left hand side and click it.

Hope that helps!

Software not responding

Uninstall the software by clicking on Windows logo Start menu> Programs > Lexmark Series folder> Tools> Uninstall. Restart pc. Check if your Vista is running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system by clicking on the Windows logo Start menu> right click on Computer > Properties. I recommend you use the downloaded file. Download Driver for Microsoft Windows Vista. for 32-bit operating system or download Driver for Microsoft Windows Vista (x64) for 64-bit operating system. Hope this helps. If you need more assistance, leave a comment so I can get back to it. Thanks.

Your problem is a little hard to say. Have there been any power outtages or has you computer been powered-off rather than the regular shut-down procedure. Windows registry and programs can be thus corrupted.

Also computer viruses can disrupt programs so please run for example
Mcafee's free online anti-virus to rule-out a virus problem.
http://us.mcafee.com/root/campaign.asp?cid=45694

Even if you have an anti-virus installed, it needs to be running the latest virus definitions.

You could also try in programs accesories system tools to select "system restore" and bring back your computer to a date where you understand the problem was not happening. (Try this one last)

Ages of Empires II will not work on Vista on my laptop

All this bit is irrelevant

"Age of Empires II has stopped working" then in smaller writing it says "Windows can check online for a solution to the problem" it then gives me the choice of checking online or closing the program, I click the "Check online for a solution and close the program" option, it then comes up with another window telling me "Windows is looking for a solution for the problem"

This is just a message saying Winderz has no idea what is going on and doesn't know how to fix.

Vista is the pits. You need Windows 7 at least. Is this Age of Empires a bootleg copy on DVD or CD by any chance? The disc is corrupt.
