Picture acts like it wants to colaps inward and bounces back. A change in scenes sometimes corrects problem. Picture starts the inward/outward motion after about 2 min of startup or scene changes. Sometimes sooner.

How to loosen stop motion wheel on singer 500 slant-o-matic sewing machine

Remove the screw on the clutch wheel. Carefully pull off the wheel, and check the ring. The tabs should be facing outward. If the tabs are facing inward, turn the ring around. If they are, screw the wheel back on and replace the screw. Sometimes it takes a couple of times to get the tiny screw between the tabs.

No picture on my Gateway monitor My Gateway FPD 22755W TFT LCD Monitor powers up but has no picture. The blue lights on the lower righthand side come on. It makes the little banjo strum, but absolutely no...

First of all disconnect the power & unplug the video cable from the back of the CPU & Monitor. Power-on the monitor & wait 10 secs. If the Monitor is functioning correctly, a 'No Signal' message appears & sometimes keeps bouncing around like a screen saver motion. This means your monitor is OK, if no signal message is not showing then either backlight or inverter(power) input has gone KAPUT. Replacing either or both may not turn out to be a cost effective soln. However if the damage is only in the cable then simply replace it or use the HDMI port..........................Sodeep63

Set clutch free travel

To set the clutch free play, you need to do the entire clutch adjustment or things just don't work correctly.

Follow the clutch cable about halfway down and you'll find a rubber bellows type cover that protects the clutch cable adjuster. Move this cover up or down, loosen the locknut, and adjust the adjuster inwards to gain a good deal of slack in the cable.

Now, remove the primary cover. In the center of the clutch, loosen the lock nut. Now turn the adjuster inwards JUST UNTIL YOU FEEL A RESISTANCE. DO NOT FORCE THE SCREW. If you need to, back the screw out and then go back inward until you feel the resistance. Once you feel the resistance, back the screw back outward 1/2 turn. Lock the locknut and replace the derby cover.

Now, go back to the clutch cable adjuster and adjuster the adjuster outwards until you have 1/8" freeplay. Work the clutch several time and recheck the freeplay. When finished, lock the locknut and replace the bellows type cover.

Good Luck

Outwards, on a DLP, however on the Philips 2.0 chassis the front lamp fan blows inward and the rear lamp fan takes it out. They actually have 3 fans.

Screen comes on, disk turns, loading starts, and doesnt stop

With the power turned off, open the DVD Player, and then open the top where you load the DVD into the player. Locate the laser lens and notice that the laser is attached to a transport assembly that moves the laser diagonally outward in a slot. 1. Slide this assembly outward to the end of its track. 2. Slide the assembly back inward to the closest inward position. 3. Repeat the process of sliding the assembly outward and then back inward.4. Put in a music CD and let it play all the way through. This helps to calibrate the laser head assembly movement. When the music CD is finished playing. 5. Put in a DVD, and you should have a working unit again This is a factory solution from Mintek that was given to a customer who ask for help with the forever loading disc problems. This solution may work on other models of portable DVD players. Most portable DVD players use this type of transport mechanism. Try this solution it might work for you.

Video Card Problems

Sounds like the video card is heating up too quickly and can't get rid of the heat fast enough. Maybe you need to check the fan on the video card or get another fan to circulate the air more within your PC. I currently have 3 fans blowing inward in my PC and 1 blowing outward. 1 mounted on the front, blowing inward 1 mounted on the side, blowing inward 1 mounted on the top, blowing inward 1 mounted on the back, blowing outward I used to have problems with my video card acting up from time to time and this seemed to help keep not only my video card cool, but also my CPU.
