SOURCE: logitech keyboard won't work

You may need to reinstall the drivers for the keyboard, they should have came on a CD with the keyboard, you may also be able to download the correct driver from Logitech's website. Try searching for 'logitech keyboard drivers' in Google or visit Logitech's own website.

Logitech M510 suddenly stopped working

What does the device manager say about the hardware?
It could be loss of the usb device controller. Windows XP is old and that is an indication that the hardware is old too.

Inserted the usb in computer but key board isn't doing anything just bought 2 days ago and used once, what could the problem be?

There are a few things that could be causing miscommunication between your wireless keyboard and your computer.
First and foremost, try restarting your computer. Sometimes it's a simply quirky problem that is addressed with powering off and on the computer.
keyboard could be out of range - move closer to the USB receiver, resync the keyboard (there is usually a button on the keyboard for this), and try again batteries could be dead or inserted backwards - double check the batteries or replace with fresh ones USB port could be acting up - plug the USB receiver into another USB port you may need to update or re-install the driver for your keyboard model - search for the model on your manufacturer's webpage (in this case, logitech) and they usually offer the latest driver downloads.
