To demonstrate, with the machine off, adjust the stitch length to '2' using the knob on the stitch-length lever. Usually that means to stitch length balance needs adjusting. Adjustment usually must be made by an authorized service technician for your machine. Check your user manual to determine if you can adjust the stitch length balance.
