picture went to all pink but menu is in full color if bypass hd inputs picture is fine and using rca cables picture is fine its just the component connections that turn screen all pink

Your output device is likely trying to send out a YPbPr signal. On the output device try switching it to an automatic mode ideally or manually switching it to RGB. On the PS3 it is under the Video Settings section (Not the display settings.)
