Date stamp

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

My Kodak easyshare M530 doesn't have a "stamp date" on my setup screen. Yet it does stamp my pixes.

Are you sure? Where are you seeing the date? As far as I'm aware, the M530 can't stamp the date on the pics. It can show the date when reviewing pics, and just about any photo printing program can print the date along with the photo, but the camera won't hide anything behind the date.

I cant seem to find setting for time/date stamp?? or did i just missed it??? need the date to be printed on my pic.btw im using DSC T10. wish u could help. thx.

Hello! Welcome to FixYa!
According to the review features of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T10 Digital Camera, this camera doesn't have a feature for superimposing date/time on images, however you can print images with the date superimposed, So by default u cannot put the time or date stamp on your images, but after taken the images you can manually put the stamp and can print the images.
Don't hesitate to let me know if you want any further assistance.
I hope this solution helps you
Thank you and Keep using FixYa!

How to print pics with the date stamp from canon A580

The date stamp feature on this camera will only work in postcard mode- resolution set to 2M (1600 x 1200) and compression set to fine. You have to set the picture mode to that first. You also have to set the date and time if it isn't set already.

To set the mode quickly, set the mode switch to camera, turn the mode dial to A (auto), then press Func. button, scroll down to the "L", scroll across to the mountains with the clock dial, then press the Disp. button to turn date prinitng on and off.

Hi i need to put the date/time stamp onto my footage. So i can present it in court..please help Adam

Google BatchPhoto and download the software. The program has a free 30 day trial and it'll add the date/time stamp to your photos. BatchPhoto can read the original date/time when the photos were taken from the embedded EXIF data. It can add the date/time on dozens of pics very fast and in one operation. Also it offers extensive options for setting the timestamp: the font, color and even the text's transparency can be adjusted, also the date format as well as placement of the stamp are fully customizable.

I AM TRYING TO SET THE DATE & TIME TO APPEAR ON MY PHOTOS.

you can only do date and time stamp under function button go to bottom where you can change size of pictures -go to right to W or wide-this is only setting you can do date time stamp on-when you change pic size and go back to menu you will see it highlighted and you can now turn it on-equals about a 2-3 megapixel size picture only-also just leave settings alone and have printer add it-date and time our always in pic data and most printers can add it

Power Shot SD550 Date Stamp

Dear BethSmith,
I have had the same problem for a long time.  It has nothing to do with the battery, etc..  It has to do with the software of the camera.

You are only able to have time stamps on the photos when you are in the postcard mode.  (resolution will be set to 1600x1200, at fine setting)  Check out page 29 and 39 of Advance user manual!

Good luck,
Shah

Time & Date Stamp

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every image. Any photo printing program should have an option for printing the date and time on the picture (or in the margin or even on the back if the printer is two-sided).
