Question about General Electric WSSH300G Front Load Washer
My washer will wash fine, it rotates fwd and back during wash cycle. For final spin, the pump engages but drum does not spin.(no movement at all) After a period of time the pump stops and the end of cycle beep signals.
Reviewed other similar posts. Cleared filter - there was some stuff in it but not entirely blocked; I also made sure drain hose is not blocked.
Any other suggestions?
Check your lid switch, and the strike, which is the other half of the switch, and is attached to the lid (the switch is on the machine).

Sounds like the spin coil/brake solenoid is burnt out or broken. This is a coil situated on the motor plate under the machine with a lever attatched to it. When the machine goes into spin cycle, this solenoid pulls the brake away from the outer drum to allow the drum and agitator to spin together. The shaft that goes into this coil should move in and out freely. If tight, replace spin coil/brake solenoid.
