I bought a cord and sd card for my VU today. I tried to download music onto my sd card via the cord. It read that I have music on there but it doesn't show on my phone. So i plug the sd card into my laptop and it downloaded. It shows up in my Audio and Ringtones but not the Music Player. How do I solve this problem? Many thanks to whoever gives me a solution.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Save the music onto the computer from the SD Card. Format the SD Card, It should give you this option in the phone and on the computer in my computer. Redownload the songs to the SD Card and try to reinsert the card. See what happens...
if you droped the Vu than you could have damaged the insides and that might cause the repeating of it shuting off but a easyer way to get music onto your Vu is to get a Micro SD and get an adaptor for it and put music on that and then plug the SD into your phone its alot easyer and faster than useing the cord
I had the same problem and found the solution on the following site! http://www.lg-vu.com/index.php?topic=2660.0 Reading thru the blog you will find the best solution is to download the MP3 tag which there is a link for and untag the retag your MP3's and they will work. So easy but up to 6 hours or more to locate.
well you can accss it by going to your music and if she wants a mp3 than you should get a Micro SD 8 GB so that she can hold music on the phone you insert this card next to the battery first you have to take out the battery though
It is easier to get a SD memory card for it. Drag and drop the music onto the window which represents the SD memory card and then just put the SD memory card into the GPX MP3 player. I have the same MP3 player and it works nice... it was a good deal for the money! Take the savings and invest in a cheap SD memory card and you will be happy.... I was! :-) Good Luck!
