Question about Poulan Pro Pp125 25cc Gas Straight Shaft Attachment Capable String Trimmer
I have a Poulan Pro PPB335 is brand new...It will start and run but it idles or its full blast. What I mean is at half throttle it boggs down like a lack of fuel and will die if I hold it at half and fouls the spark plug. Runs good full blast but you don't always want full speed. Any advise?

SOURCE: only runs on full throttle
Are you saying full throttle, or full choke? if full throttle, you should be able to set the idle up. the idle screw will be the one when you give it gas, it will be the screw on you'r throttle linkage. If full choke, maybe the spark arrestor is plugged. You can remove it by removing the muffler. It would be between the muffler and cylinder head. You don't need this to run.I hope any thing I posted will help.

First of all, YES. boggs is a word in my dictionary. Remove the muffler and carefully take it apart. Pay close attention as to how it comes apart because it is vary important it goes back the same way. you will probable find that it is clogged. If it is then remove the debree. If it isn't then you will have to adjust the fuel mixture screw. First start the trimmer, then let it run for a few minutes to warm up, then gently turn the screw a little bit at a time counter clockwise first, squeezing the throttle inbetween adjustments . If it starts to take off then fine tune it untile your happy. If it boggs worse then turn it clockwise.
But first check the muffler.
