My 99 cadillac diville message stater disabled

The security system thinks someone is trying to steal the car and is disabling the car.

you might have a coolant air lock! most cadillac have a bleeder screw on top of the thermostat housing, loosing screw only when engine cold pure coolant in wait untill coolant start running out the screw hole rapidly then tighten screw, start engine let it run your fan should start working too, GOOD LUCK

It is having a hard time reading your chip in your key. I have the same problem on my 99. You can get them replaced but there not cheap.

Replaced digital dash on 1998 Cadillac DeVille. Receiving error message 'Starter disabled keyless remote' 'Wait 3 min.' After 3 min, car still doen't start.

IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER KEY, YOU WILL NEED IT TO START THE CAR.

OPEN THE IGNITION KEY WERE IS THE C/C PRESS THE BUTON OFF AND THE BUTON WARM FOR 5 SECONDS AND YOU GOING TO SEE A DISPLAY IN THE DASH ABOUT ALL HTE CODES YOU CAR HAS AND THE END YOU WILL SEE MCM? THEN PRESS HI SPEED WERE THE A/C IS THEN PRESS LOW THEN HI AND THAT IS THE WAY YOU WILL ERASE THE CODES IN YOUR CAR

should be in the fuse box inside the car drivers side dash

Its your engine to chassis ground I had same problem replace wire or try sanding paint around connection for better connection. The wire is located on top left of engine, very visible
