The card error problem happens sometime. Don't worry, as long as you take the right steps, you do have a big chance to get back your data:
Firstly, stop using this camera immediately. You should never use this camera before you've restored all your photos back in case of any data loss.
Secondly, plunge this camera to your computer and prepare to retrieve all your deleted photos.
Thirdly, apply a camera data recovery freeware to retrieve all your deleted photos back successfully:

I believe this data recovery can work perfectly on your camera memory card just in the same way as it completely retrieves all the deleted data of my friend off from his camera.
Fourthly, save and back up all the restored photos on a different camera memory card or drive in case of data recovery failure.
Note: Never forget to back up everything important at least on two cards or locations.
Good luck!

I'm afraid you will have to format your fujifilm camera memory, but formatting the memory card will cause all your photos lost from the card. Fortunately, there are many photo recovery programs has the capacity to recover fujifilm finepix deleted/lost photos from formatted memory card.
After formatting your camera memory card, they will be recognized by your computer as a removable disk again, then you can use photo recovery software to scan the storage card for formatted files.

You may try some photo recovery software to rescue the files on your FUJI camera (memory card), here are some for your options.

Photo Recovery (for Windows)
Photo Recovery for Mac

Be careful: Before your pictures are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the memory card in case the original files(your pictures) are overwritten.

I have a J10 fujifilm camera and it currently has an error message: FRAME NO. FULL! I have the following picture card: Fujifilm xD xD-Picture Card M1GB Any advice would be appreciated.

Try formatting the memory card. If that doesn't work, try a different memory card. If that doesn't help, sadly, it's probably time to return the camera if it's still under warranty.

Good luck!

My Fujifilm 128MB XD card shows 'Read error' when inserted into my camera, but the photos will display on my computer - HELP!!

If you have rotated the images on your PC, you may find that your camera is not able to process the images correctly.

If not, try backing the photos up onto computer, format the XD card and then try copying the pictures back if you need to have them on the camera.

Is olympus xd -picture card, type m+ 2gb compatable with camera Fujifilm Finepix.

XD cards are now obsolete memory cards. The cards were developed by Olympus and Fujifilm and released during the summer of 2002. There is now an adapter that allows an SD card to be used in place of the XD card You need to remember that the capacity should not exceed 2 GB or the camera will not be able to accept it. As far as I know cameras accepting XD cards were last produced in 2007, I don't know what specific models however the camera specifications would show what type card it uses.

I have a fujifilm finePix A345 camera and i am having trouble formatting the xD picture card. it's a 2GB card. do they work in this model of camera? i format the card but it still says card error.

Bad news. The A345 will only accept up to a 1gb xd card. Here's a link to Fuji's camera/card compatibility chart. http://www.fujifilm.ca/x7970.xml
Just highlight the address and paste it into your address bar.

Fujifilm FinePix E550 Card Error Problem: With camera OFF, remove XD card. Turn camera ON & "take" a couple of pictures. Turn camera OFF & reinsert the XD card. Turn on & it should be good to go. It sems strange that this info is not available on the fujifilm website where they suggest to take the camera to "the nearest authorized FUJIFILM repair facility."
