Can't pair device

I bought a bluetooth and have followed the instructions on how to pair the devices but no such luck. It just says no bluetooth device found. Followed everything but resetting the phone, which I don't really want to do as I'll loose my pics and info.

Cant connect to my laptop

Assuming your laptop is Bluetooth compatible, make sure all other Bluetooth devices are out of the area so there is no interference. As each computer may search for the headset differently there is no generic guide as to how to pair up the two devices together. Carefully follow the instructions of the computer for pairing or call Plantronics at 800-544-4660 x5538.

My new phone a Samsung Gusto is not pairing to my Plantronics 233 bluetooth? Is it compatible?

Hi, to be sure if the blue tooth wll be compactible with Samsung Gusto, you will need to use the below instructions first after trying out the instruction and still does not work, that means it's not compactible with it.

instruction:

Read the owners manual for your bluetooth device. You will need to find the code to pair your headset to your phone. This code is usually 0000 (those are zeroes) but verify before you proceed.

Enter your bluetooth option on your cell phone. These can be found in your menu under "bluetooth," "connections," "settings," or something similar.

Turn on your bluetooth headset and put it in pairing mode. Pairing mode means the bluetooth is ready to be found by your cell phone. To pair your headset, follow the owners manual for your specific bluetooth model.

Select "add device" or "search for new device" from your cell phone. Your cell phone will then search for your bluetooth. Once it is found, or discovered, you will need to enter the pairing code (most likely 0000, check your manual to verify).

Select "connect" to finalize the connection if the bluetooth headset didn't connect automatically after the pairing code was entered. Make a test call with your bluetooth in your ear to ensure it is connected properly.

Good luck..

I have a LG GT 365 phone. I bought a plantronics 240 series bluetooth device. The pairing code 0000 suggested in the instructions will not work. Any suggestions?

By default, Bluetooth technology is using the codes 000 or 1234 in pairing a device.

You may try to use 1234 and see if that will help.

You may give me an update regarding this.

Thank you and good luck!

Connectivity > Bluetooth.

2. To activate or deactivate the Bluetooth function, select

Indicates an active Bluetooth connection.

3. To search for compatible Bluetooth audio devices, select

How can i set the em227pk bluetooth up for pairing? plz help.

In order to pair a BlackBerry smartphone with a Bluetooth enabled device (e.g. a Bluetooth enabled headset), the Bluetooth enabled device must be in pairing mode. Most Bluetooth enabled devices are not set to pairing mode by default. Refer to your Bluetooth enabled device manual for instructions on how to set the Bluetooth enabled device to pairing mode.
To pair the BlackBerry smartphone with a Bluetooth enabled device, complete the following steps:
1) On the BlackBerry smartphone, click Options > Bluetooth. If you cannot find the Bluetooth option,
2) Open the menu and select Add Device. The Select Device list appears and lists Bluetooth enabled devices that are in range and available to be paired.
Note: Only BlackBerry smartphones enabled with Bluetooth technology that are in range and in pairing mode will appear in the available Select Device list.
3) Select the Bluetooth enabled device with which you are pairing. The Enter passkey dialog appears.
4) Type the passkey to authenticate the Bluetooth enabled device. Most Bluetooth enabled devices contain a hard coded passkey. See your Bluetooth enabled device manual for the passkey.
Note: 0000 is the universal passkey for pairing any Bluetooth enabled device with a BlackBerry smartphone.
Note: Once a Bluetooth enabled device is paired, it appears in the Paired Devices list. The Bluetooth enabled device will no longer appear in the Select Device list.
Bluetooth devices are manufacturer specific. Please refer user manual for instructions on how to pair with other devices.

Connecting JABRA BLUETOOTH to MY SIDEKICK 3

Use your Bluetooth wireless headset or car speaker to make and receive calls: 1. Follow the manufacture's instructions for your Bluetooth device to make sure it is turned on and "visible". 2. From your Sidekick, go to the Phone application. 3. Make sure your Bluetooth device has paired with your Sidekick device by pressing MENU and selecting Settings > Pairing.
