I have the same problem. from the first time I used my LG dishwasher the dishes don't dry. My hot water is well over 120 degrees.  Does the machine use only the hot water? If it does, then my water should be hot enough. But the dishes are wet.

Try using the sanitary rinse as the heater only comes on during the wash and then again in the sanitary rinse.

These dishwashers have no heater for drying dishes. It has a fan to circulate warm air. It is very important that your water temp is at least 120 degrees. It is the combination of hot water and air circulating that dries dishes.

Dishes still wet upon end of cycle

Check if the heater is working. This can be done by checking if the dishwasher has steam and dishes are warm when cycle is complete. Also check if the Rinse aid has not finished. Make sure the Rinse aid dosage is not at too low.

Once the cycle is complete (rinse, drying, end) the dishes are clean but not dry.

#1 plastic dishes cups etc will rarely completely dry
check your heater, check for continuity on the heater it should ohm out.
does the heater get hot?
are you running hot water at the sink before pushing the start button?
are you using a rinse agent such as jet dry?

My dishes still come out do i set the washer to dry the dishes

there should be a setting or a button to turn the heat dry on and off, if it is on and dishes are not drying then the next time you do a load of dishes pay attention to the cycles, after the rinse cycle is complete the heat should come on. if not you could have either a bad heating coil or a bad relay.

Wet dishes

If the dry cycle has a problem, check these:

Heating element
Drying fan
Heating element Your dishwasher has an electrical heating element that helps to dry the dishes. If the element is burned out, the dishes won't dry properly, and you need to replace the element.

Drying fan Many high-priced dishwashers have a small fan that blows air or heated air into the dishwasher to speed up the drying process. If the fan is defective, you need to replace it.

Thermostat Some dishwashers have a thermostat that monitors the drying temperature. If the thermostat is defective, the heating element may not cycle on or off properly. If that's the problem, you need to replace the thermostat
