Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router
You can check the wireless security on the router's GUI.
1. Open any web browser like Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
Connect to the router by typing http://192.168.1.1 in the address field and click Enter or Return key. (that is the default IP of the router but if you changed it you may use that IP address)
A window will prompt for a user name and password. The default, there is no username, leave the username blank and admin is the password.
2. Click the Wireless tab and look for the wireless security. Look for the key 1 if your using WEP or the passphrase if your using WPA.

If it is your network, you can reset the router to factory settings (press the reset button for in the back of the router for a few seconds; that will remove any existing protection). Any computer within range will be able to connect to you network.
Then you will have to access the web administration page of the router and set a new password and the other definitions of your network.
If you are not sure how to do it, check the router manual first and, if you don't have it anymore, download it fron the Linksys support pages.
