Hello, it sounds like the main board has gone bad (the tuner is mounted on the main board). The cost of the board replacement may be close to the cost of a new set. You may want to explore that option....tks....Terry

Try using Mitsubishi codes if the Polaroid codes for Direct TV. Mitsubishi code: 10178

Toshiba code 678 works for a Polaroid TV model FLM-1514B

Polaroid tv/dvd combo is 1991.
The dvd code equivalent of that code is dvd 1480.

0019 = NEC1, device code 4
0054 = RC-5, device codes 0 and 3
0150 = Mits, device code 71
0178 = NEC1, device code 4
0765 = NEC1, device code 64
1256 = NEC1, device code 64
1276 = $0057, device code 71

I just bought a Polaroid 22 inch LCD DVD Combi,, I struggled for hours trying to find a code online,, and eventually researched that my Polaroid TV is made by Phillips,, I entered a Phillips 4 digit code (0081) and it worked..
