We have a customer with a Konica 2125 copier that has a blank LCD screen on the control panel.
The print switch will glow orange but will not turn green. The AES, RADF, AES lights are on but you cannot make it zoom up or down or make a copy. The LCD screen is always blank even if you open a side door.
We have switched out the following items from a known working machine and still have the same problem.

All printed circuit boards in back of machine.
All wiring harnesses to all boards and AC wiring harnesses as well.
Complete control panel including both door interlock switches.
    Complete drum/developer unit.
    Complete fuser unit.
Tested exposure lamp and is OK.
Checked all grounds in back of machine and all are tight.
    Complete feed section.
    Complete exit section.
Power cord including noise filter board and circuit breaker.

I have worked on office equipment for 18 yrs and cannot figure this one out, can anyone help us in this situation.

Could have a blown fuse in power supply, zero crossing usually means there is a problem with the power outlet you have it plugged into.

Years ago I saw a similar problem where the power company had changed a transformer causing the zero crossing signals to be bad, drove us crazy, on even the new circuit boards we had to modify the chip for zero crossing detection to get rid of the AC fail errors.

Error c6400 in 1135

The Error is described in the Service Manual as - "Zero cross signal error The zero cross signal does not reach the control PWB for specified time."

This can be a damaged wire harness between the High Voltage PCB and another board or a defective Power Source PCB. Bad power at the outlet can also cause this.

Move the machine to another location and make sure nothing else is plugged into the same line. If the problem goes away have an electrician check your wiring.

If the problem still occurs have a Service Technician check the machine and replace the bad part.

Eror sc547

The error sc 547 refers to a "Zero cross signal malfunction".

This means that the applied power supply AC frequency was detected at over 66Hz or below 45Hz, and the zero cross signals are not detected within a certain period within 500 ms after the main power switch has been turned on.

Possible causes are:
- Power supply board defective
- IOCSS defective
- BICU defective

Try to reset the SC code by entering SP5810 and select 1.
Then hold down the photo mode key and the # key at the same time for at least 3 second.
Then turn the machine off and on again.
If the same issue still appears, try to replace the Power Supply Unit.

4. Check to make sure that [OK] is displayed and the it has been reset.
5. Turn off the Main Power Switch and turn it on again more than 10 seconds after, and
make sure that the machine properly starts.

And yes, a power outage could cause this.
