Question about Denon AVR-1508 Receiver
Turn the unit off by main switch (not a standby button).
Press and hold "Speakers-A" and "Speakers-B" buttons and turn on main switch.
Release the buttons after 3 seconds.
Receiver is reseted.

When I turn on my Denon amp on it switches off straight way. On the display unit shows reciever and then it switches off and the red light blinks the whole time. What can be wrong? Please help?

Could be several things. First, disconnect all speakers and try the RESET suggested above. Could be a shorted speaker cable. If not, you have to take it to a tech and check inside voltages and regulators. I have had several in my lab with damaged + and - 15 volt supplies.
