Need to know how to take apart dash to replace radio

The quadra-lift air suspension was standard on certain models but option on all others! If your vehicle has this option then there is a button on the dash to control lowering the suspension for easy entry/exit!

What component are you trying to replace or issue your trying to resolve??? The dash assembly is a HUGE undertaking.

The handle is only sold with the complete register assembly.

Hello and welcome to FixYa . Locate the dial that controls the brightness of the dashboardlights. If the control is not immediately evident. Make sure the brightness control is turned on. If it is and the lights aren't working, the problem may be a bad fuse. Check the fuse that controls the dashboard lights Replace the fuse if necessary. If just one part of the instrument panel is not lighting up, then you have either a burned-out bulb or a wiring problem.

I have read it is quite a job. The heater core in my 97 Grand Cherokee (which is in the same location as the evaporator) is leaking. I think you have to remove the entire dash to get to it.

this is the problem then, and a very common one at that, bad news is the dash must come out to replace it.

It just pops off and on. just start at a bottom corner and gently pull. then go to the next bottom corner then work your way up.

It's in the engine compartment IOD#2. It's a black module with two fuses in it. Take that module off and replace the 20 AMP one.

I have checked the web and everyone says the control module is under the hood.
