Likely it's not much different than ones just a bit older...remove the bottom panel and any screws along the bottom of the plastic dash face plate. The top is held on with clips and it should pull out, exposing the radio mounts. Go from there. They make a face plate adapter for the radio and a harness extension to help with wiring, available where they sell aftermarket radios.

Do all Jeep Grand Cherokees have air suspension control operations in their radios?

The quadra-lift air suspension was standard on certain models but option on all others! If your vehicle has this option then there is a button on the dash to control lowering the suspension for easy entry/exit!

Dash and shifter lights in 1996 jeep cherokee wont light

Hello and welcome to FixYa . Locate the dial that controls the brightness of the dashboardlights. If the control is not immediately evident. Make sure the brightness control is turned on. If it is and the lights aren't working, the problem may be a bad fuse. Check the fuse that controls the dashboard lights Replace the fuse if necessary. If just one part of the instrument panel is not lighting up, then you have either a burned-out bulb or a wiring problem.

How do replace a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee evaporator? Do I need to take the whole dash apart?

I have read it is quite a job. The heater core in my 97 Grand Cherokee (which is in the same location as the evaporator) is leaking. I think you have to remove the entire dash to get to it.
