How d I swith passenger side mirror on a power mirror on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited edition

no symptoms posted (broke glass or ???) can we be on same page?
"how do I switch," verb switch , the mirror as switches inside, too.

please say what that word means. switch and the failure.
1: remove and replace with new.
2: move right to left and left to right side.

why would you do that #2
fold away mirrors/ Export only (this is usa forum so..)
these,NASA grade mirrors are very complex... not just glass and plastic. heaters ,motors, memory , etc.

the FSM cover all tests for the mirror, including scan data.

ill quote the FSM now , 8 steps (just 1 fail, not heat, not memory failure or fold failure)
ONE MIRROR INOPERATIVE
(1) If the one inoperative mirror is on the passenger
side, go to Step 2. If the one inoperative mirror is
on the driver side, go to Step 3.
(2) Check if the passenger front door will lock and
unlock using the power lock switch on the driver side
front door. If OK, go to Step 3. If not OK, go to Step 6.
(3) Disconnect and isolate the battery negative
cable. Remove the trim panel from the front door.
Disconnect the 12-way mirror wire harness connector
from the door wire harness connector.
(4) Using two jumper wires, test the mirror as
shown in the Mirror Test chart (Fig. 2). If the mirror
tests OK, go to Step 5. If the mirror does not test
OK, replace the faulty mirror.
(5) Disconnect the 12-way door wire harness connector
from the door module connector receptacle.
Check all of the circuits of the door wire harness
between the connector for the mirror and the connector
for the door module for opens or shorts. If all of
the circuits are OK, replace the faulty door module.
If any of the circuits are not OK, repair the open or
shorted circuit(s) as required.
(6) Use a DRB scan tool and the proper Diagnostic
Procedures manual to test and repair the faulty Programmable
Communications Interface (PCI) data bus
communication between the two door modules.

(bar stool answer) all cars. mostly
pull door skins
unplug motor conn.
unscrew mirror base from door.
extract mirror,

Jeep Liberty 2006 power mirrors stopped working. Looking for fuse..These are not heated mirrors just power. Not fuse 25 or 29..can not find a listing in the owners manual for this.

there are only 2 ways to work this, (besides guessing and diagnosis)
the meter motors are dead in all directions, and both mirrors?
??????????????????
the Fsm shows the full schematic, so read that?
or test all fuse. (no books no joy, huh>?)
fuses are best tested for 12vdc on both sides key on.
or using any DMM with ohms.
0 = good
infinity = bad.
fuses that look bar , are
fuse that look good, may in fact be bad, (called hair cracks)

$135 CD.
https://www.techauthority.com/en-US/Pages/Home.aspx

or login to alldata.com for 15 bucks.
google that url, and its 1st to find. all mech, know this site, it is the best. (no axe here, just facts and pure experience)

2 ways were: book or use meter.
even a $10 walfart meter works, for sure.

Will existing wiring work heated power mirror if replaced from non heated power mirrors 2013 chevy equinox ls

you would have to compare the connectors to see if the are the same.
Your new one will be missing some wires for the heater.
If completely different then get the one you need.
Take mirror with for new connector so you get the right one.

I have a 2006 Liberty and the power mirrors have just stopped working. Is there a fuse for this?

look under the hood on your jeep , on the drivers side, there will be a black box, should say power distribution, inside are fuses and relays.

Side mirrors don't work

Usually there is a switch issue. The switch that allows you to select right, left or nuetral can go bad or get dirty and not allow power distribution. If you feel comfortable doing so, remove the trim and gain access to the switch. Using a test light or the schematics, find out which wire is the voltage supply and ensure it has power with the key in the on position but the motor need not be running. If no, suspect a fuse issue, if yes then suspect a switch issue. You can use a jumper wire to apply power to the mirror feeds (again a schematic would be greatly reccomended) and if the mirrors move, viola! I hope this helps

Replacing a heated mirror with a non-heated mirror

It's perfectly fine, just find the exact type of mirror ( with out the heated option or with it ) and don't connect the wires that connects directly to the mirror.

My driver side heated mirror on my 2002 jeep liberty limited was sideswiped. How do I go about replacing it with a new one? I am hoping to find step-by-step instructions.

1.call the chrysler dealership for a new replacement or call around to autowreckers for one. 2.open the door. 3.pry off plastic from door to mirror spindle. 4.check wiring coloring. 5. pull off plastic under steering wheel may be held on by 2 or 3 screws. 6.locate wiring from mirror under dash. 7.unplug wiring harness for mirror. 8.pull out old wiring. 9.remove old mirror with old wiring harness. 10. replace with new mirror and wiring harness and then repeat.

Power mirrors stopped working 2006 jeep liberty 4x4

If both power mirrors stopped working at the same time it has to be a fuse or the switch has come unplugged, or it has become defective. mike

Folding Mirrors on jeep ltd

you can order online the mirrors
and have them delievered
did you check the switch for the mirrors sometimes its just a simple fix as replaceing a faulty switch
the switch would go out faster then the conventional mirror would try a replacement switch
