Question about Honeywell Programmable Thermostat Heater
EEE is a catastrophic error. You've got a dead stat. Check the warranty. It is 5 years from the date it was installed if it is a professionally installed model. Otherwise only a 1 year warranty if you bought it at Retail.

The internal sensor could be bad, try replacing the batteries again, be certain the polarity is correct, the sensor is inherent to the stat and the stat must be replaced.
