You can try to uninstall the USB controllers. Right-click My Computer - > Properties - > Go to the Hardware tab - > Press Device Manager - > Go to the bottom (Universal Serial Bus controllers) - > Right-click and press uninstall. Be sure to disconnect all your USB's.

When i plug my wireless mouse into my laptop it keeps on coming up with a pop up saying usb devise not recognized. I tried replacing the batteries but it still doesn't work how can i fix it?

try to turn off your computer using Shut Down or pressing the power button and then unplug it from the wall outlet. Let it sit for about a minute and then plug it back in.
Hope this help you fix that “USB device not recognized” Windows error!

My usb ports stopped recognizing my plug in's. They work for power but my wireless mouse and iPhone when plugged in won't work now.

I have a similar problem with my A135-S2286. I noted that the mouse pad area got hot, but I found it was the Wifi card. After getting hot, the computer stops recognizing USB devices and finally the computer gets stuck.

Try turning off your Wifi and please let me know if it works.
