Garmin Nuvi 660 cannot acquire satellites

Stuck saying "acquiring satellites" but never does. The last time I did this I uploaded a new update and after many tried it did finally reboot, and has worked fine for about two months....now it is starting again.

Hi I had this problem and its an antenna fault, give garmin a call and see if yours is still under warranty, if it is they will tell you to take it back to the retailor who will call garmin for a RA Number and they will replace it there and then. If your warranty has run out then call garmin to ask about repairs

Garmin Nuvi takes a long time to Acquire satellite

No. 98% of the time it took 45-56 seonds for your NUVI 660. Thats the compagny set up time acquisition and it did very well.

Be sur you had your flip antenna parallel to earth surface.
660 has THE BEST SIRF Chipset for acquiring satellite.

I had 2 NUVI 660 since 2 years. It work much better than those new 7xx series who it really took 2-3 minutes to acquire satellite.

Be sure you update your version to the last one.
