Duel blades on craftsman riding mower cut unevenly

I have a model 917.255430 riding craftsman mower.  After cutting the lawn, there are lines in the lawn and it is obvious that one or both blades are cutting at an angle rather than straight across.  There is a strip of higher grass left after cutting.  I thought it might be because blades needed sharpening but the problem still exists after sharpening.  If the blades are not level, how do I fix?

Thanks for the help. The tires did need inflating and the problem is about 90% solved. There still are some indications that the blades are not cutting completely evenly butI am happy with the results.

Unevan cut duel blades adjust deck

If the mower has been cutting fine in the past, and you do not see anything loose on the deck between the deck and the chassis. I would check the air pressure in each tire.

Cuts lawn uneven, one side shorter than other

Was it cutting uneven before you changed blades? If so, you may not have gotten the blade on the shaft correctly. There is an adjustment in the center of the deck hanger on each side. You can turn the 9/16 nut up or down on each side to level it out.

Craftsman 42 inch riding lawn mower is not cutting evenly

The first thing to check is your blades. If one is bent, it will never cut even. It happens a lot hitting roots, antbeds, etc. Mulching blades will bend easier than a straight blade. It's best to take them off and lay one on top of the other to see if they're bent.
