Question about PC Laptops
I want to clear my portable CMOS, since my geinues brother installed a setup password and forgot all about it
Remove bottom cover. Next to the HDD there is a little green plastic cover which houses the CMOS battery. Two wires one black and one red plug in near the speaker out plug on the front of the notebook. Unplug it and BIOS is reset.

Or popping out the battery for 15 secs or so will work sometimes.
but the jumper is the first choice
