Computer disconnects from wireless router

-   I have the same problem, I share the internet with my 2 housemates, they use the wireless mode for their laptops but Im connected using a cable, my computer disconnects very briefly (couple of seconds) and that causes me to disconnect from the game (and Ventrilo) and happens frequently at times but less at other times . . very frustrating
My router is the Belkin G Plus MIMO Wireless Router
model # F5D9230-4
my ISP is Virgin Media . . . got the internet connected to the modem and the modem connected to the router.
I thought at first that the problem has to do with the router Setup . . what I do is turn ON the UPnP setting . . set the router to wireless with Protected Mode Off . . setup the wireless network security to WPA-PSK . . turn OFF the Firewall . . but it still happens . . however i noticed that it happens less when Wireless mode is OFF . . but still happens-   Pooki3
