Roof top A/c on a 33 1/3 foot RV. When

Roof top a/c (Dometic) on a 33 1/3 foot RV. When temperature is at or near 100 degrees, amps build at the breaker to 24 and the breaker trips. This has restricted our travel in warm or hot climates.

Any remedy or do I have a piece of junk?

When the coils are dirty there is not a good heat transfer and there is little condensation of the refrigerant gas, the pressure in the condenser coil builds up too high and the compressor takes more amps, having the risk of geting burnt. Either the protector inside the compressor stops the compressor or the braker at the generator electrical wiring.
You have to make sure the coils are perfectly clean and try your ac checking the amps it takes when it is running, with dirty coils and with clean coils. and check the rated amps of the compressor at full load FLA

How long since the evaporator coils & fins, as well as condenser coils & fins have been thoroughly cleaned? Everything works harder when it can't get proper air flow. I have seen units that owners swear they cleaned well, but had no idea, they had to vacuum &/or wash down the coils way up inside the area that the return air filters are. If you take a flashlight & stand on a small ladder or something, and shine it way up to top, you'll see what I'm talking about. Even when filters are kept clean, over years, dust collects up there & add moisture to that & you get like mud clogging up those coils. If your up to it, or have someone who is, or will, going up on the roof and remove cover, I can tell you proper way to clean entire upper unit so that it has a chance of running as cool & efficient as possible. It doesn't cost anything other than some time, and a little elbow grease. Let me know.

I purchased a dometic roof top ac unit mdl#641515.301c0, however on the website i cannot find install manual or user manual

What part about installation are you having problems with, and what are you installing it on? Do you have both upper (roof) unit & lower ( at ceiling) ? Is it a ducted system or blowing directly from ceiling assy?
Check this link as well , you may find 6300 series is same install.

My roof air will only cool down about 10 degrees below outside temp. What should I ckeck first?

On a hot day (80+) check the temperature difference between the indoor coil's inlet and outlet, it should be 20 degrees lower under normal circumstances, if the air temperature is lower than that you may need to clean the indoor coil fins.
Next check the same thing at the outdoor coil; there should be about a 30 degree rise in temperature when the air exits the coil. If the temperature is higher you may need to clean the outdoor (condenser) coil.

I have a dometic Roof Top Rv Air Condtioner and the evaporator coil is freezing up. Could the unit be low on freon. I also noticed the evaporator coil had a noticable amount of dust build up. My thought...

It freezes because of a lack of air flow ... and/or ... colmplicating ... high demand with high humidity.

Even worse is running the roof top with the door open in the summer (I see this all the time in the RV park where I work - I'm not saying you are doing this - but I see it all the time. What the heck, the typical transient camper is not paying for the electricity - let it run!)

I hope this helps you

My roof top RV air conditioner is dripping water inside my RV

Check run-of on roof & see if it's been reduced lately, it may just be a plugged drain at base of unit on roof.

Portable generator pops breaker when temp is over 75 degrees

I take it you have RV plugged into generator. Hopefully direct with no extension cords. Are you using a 30 to 15 amp adapter to plug into generator? What is the rating of the breaker on the generator that keeps tripping, suspect it's only 15 amp?
