Question about Uniden BC60XLT Handheld Scanner

When i shut my bc60xlt off i lose all saved freqs , i have put them back in several times,but i keep losing them.

Your scanner has a capacitor-based backup circuit, and the capacitor has likely died of old age. Youtr only solution is to keep the unit powered up.

Loses power and shuts down

Keep the menu button pressed while you power on the camera. It may take several tries before the camera successfully powers on. This is a known problem with c875.

I had the batteries out for a while and when i put them back in it won't do anything(can't program). when i push and hold the pri button in the lower right hand corner of keypad "pch loc out" appears...

To reset you BC60XLT:

1. Power the scanner OFF.
2. Press and hold the 2, 9, and MANUAL keys while you power the scanner ON.

Need freq for scanner for albany ga

Press Manual,enter the channel number, then press MANUAL, enter the FREQUENCY you want including the decimal point, press E to enter,if you make a mistake,press CLR to erase,....You can get the frequency's for your state at ...hope this was helpful...

I lost my manual and forgot how to keep the programming in unit. I put in the numbers and when it scans it just shows scanning and not the freq scanned.

Speakers losing base

if ur speakers are losing base..then check out any two or more wire may b naked.
and they wre touching each other.
so apply tape on them.
this may reduce the noise..& bass will come back.

Losing memory settings

On remote control before you shut off yor receiver press "TEST" button to save the memory. It will save every setting. Make sure to do that all the time after you change the setings.

you have to program the freqs into the scanner find a manual online that tells you how to do it
