Do you have the video cable in the right spot? Also, make sure you have the TV set to the correct input. If you have S-video or HDMI, etc. You need to make sure that you have the proper settings selected. If you can give me more details on the cable you're using that would help.

We have sound but no picture on our Wii

Connect a DVD player using red white and yellow to the TV if you get picture and sound, then reconnect the wii red, white, and yellow to the same input.

If only the wii does not show video you will need new red white, and yellow cables. I would try a friends red, white, and yellow cables first even to their TV where their wii is already working.

If new cables are not working you will need to contact Nintendo as there is an issue with your wii. You can't change the wii video to progressive without a component kit, and since you have yellow you obviously don't have a component cable for the wii.

Have good picture, but no sound from Wii

Make sure no other game console is hooked up to the spliter then turn everything off... turn the TV on first, then the game system, if the system still doesn't produce sound then get a NEW dedicated cable Hope that helps

I have sound but no picture

Your tv cable has shorted out. Replace the cable first before thinking the worse. Worse case is the sound board on the wii is bad... but can be ordered from places like wiiparts.com and risingsonltd.com

Wii component cable

Not knowing the Wii, but being familiar with the symptom, I would guess there is a setting change in the menu of the Wii that will let you choose component or composite output. It sounds exactly like a composite signal is being fed, over the component cables, to a component input. Check the menu settings and consult the manual for hooking the Wii up to a component television.

Power but no picture or sound

Did you plug in the cables in the TV for the Wii? Check if you did that or if you do, try changing the different TV setting.
