Put your phone in a ziplock back with rice or oats that will remove most of the moisture.

There is no easy way out of this, phones can supposedly be damaged if in a steamy or moist enviroment let alone having direct water damage, there are liquids to remove the water but unfortunatley the damage is done

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

My phone got wet....wont turn on. Any suggestions or is it fried?

Hi,
The best thing to do with a wet phone is to not even try to turn it on...then place it in a bag of dry minute rice for at least a few days... check the rice...if it becomes moist, then change it and keep the phone in it until it draws the moisture out of the phone...after the phone is completely dry then try to turn it on...

I thnk i got my phone wet, and now it is acting crazy... moving by itself and wont let me text keeps going to the IM center

Turn it off! Find a warm, dry place to store it (off) for a few days OR open up the phone and dry it out with hairdryer on cool + dry for 1+ days in open air.

My phone got wet now it charges, screen works but wont turn on.

Water internal to a cell phone is usually death to the electronics. You can try drying it out by putting it in a box of silica gel (obtainable at a craft store). You only need enough to surround the phone. Leave the phone in the silica gel for a day or two to see if the phone will function, otherwise I'm afraid a new phone is in order.

My Gzone got knocked into water wit the port open and wont start

After getting a phone wet, the best way to dry it out safely and quickly is to pull the battery and bury the phone in a bowl filled with (uncooked) rice for a day or more. The rice acts as a desiccant and remove any excess moisture.

You may be able to try a different battery after you are sure the phone has dried properly.

Hope this helps you.

Wet dash

There's still water in it. You'll need to take the battery out and let it dry another two days. I got my phone wet one time and it took a week before it worked again.
