Question about Garden

I have a Ryobi 2 Cycle GasTrimmer, model 775R. The cutting head will not spin. Then engine starts fine, but the head won't spin. I'm guessing age is 8-10 yrs. old. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the drive cable is broken inside the shaft some flex drive cables can cost half to three quarters the price of a new machine.

I can not start my ryobi 775r trimmer. There is fresh gas and the fuel/oil mixture is correct. I've gone thru all the starting procedures in the owner's manual including for flooded engine. I installed a...


Remove your spark plug, take a rag and dry it up shoot a little WD-40 into it reinstall. Do not prime the unit or turn the choke on just pull it should start for you, make sure you are are not leaving the choke on, that is a common mistake.

MY RYOBI 31CC 775R WEEDEATER WON'T START I REPLACED THE SPARK PLUG AND STILL NOTHING I DON'T THINK ITS GETTING GAS HOW DO I FIX OR REPLACE GAS LINES.


spary a little startingfluid in carb to see if it start if it start rebuild carb.to change fuel line

Ryobi 775r gas trimmer stalling when tilted


You have a air leak between to tank and motor. Could be carb gasket. When using in tilted position you dont have gravity feeded carb anymore, causing air to be sucked into carb. Take off carb and spray with crb cleaner, then blow out with air gun. Replace gasket, make sure all new lines and bulb connections are connected securely.

Have you made sure the drive shaft cable is tuning and is properly installed and that there is no debris or dirt stopping the blade from turning?
