Question about Sony KP-53HS10 TV
My SONY 53" TV started problem screen going black after to 8 minutes with sound is on. I have repair man changed STK 392-020 and 4 caps about 4 years back. What could be the problem? Should I go ahead and repair it or buy a new TV, LCD?
Sonys generally run hot as a tv they are usually noticabley heavier due to extra internal tube screening this can cause the solder to crack or whats called a dry joint if tapping it on the side makes a difference or it comes back on briefly then this is almost definitely the fault, just need to find it and resolder
