U need to change it before it leaks over the circuitb board if its one to that stage. If you can find a battery source its not difficult just be careful you put things back the way they were when u opened it

My battery keeps going flat battery has charged and alternatoir fine on my citrien c8

You didn't say how old your battery is, but after a certain number of years, they get where they can no longer "hold" the charge given them, and lose power quickly.

If this is your case, sounds like time for a new battery.

I have a 4.5 year old IRobot Roomba 530 Robotic Vacuum. Appears to be fully charged but then only runs for about 30 seconds before stopping. What may be the problem?

You need a new battery - they don't hold their charge after a while. There is a lot of advice on line about how to try to make the battery last longer but 4.5 years is actually pretty good.

Battery seems to be charged, it will crank 90% of the time but once in a while i have to jump it off. this started when i left the dome light and rear inside light on all night and the battery lost charge.

Maintenance-free batteries really don't tolerate complete discharge very well. If the battery was already several years old, letting it go dead probably was the last straw, so now it may not hold a charge more than a day or two, or it may have so little capacity that if you start the car a couple of times without a long (20 min+) drive between starts to recharge the battery, it won't be able to start the car the next time without a jump. Probably time to go battery shopping.
You didn't mention your model, but many BMWs use unusual battery sizes (group #s). Most of us use a smaller, common size battery, or a larger (longer) battery because original sized batteries are hard to find at the retailers, and when you find one, it may not be very fresh. If your battery will only last six or seven years at best, you don't want to buy one that is already a year old, and has been sitting on the shelf partially charged for that year.

I have got an 18 volt 3.0 ah impact driver from hitachi its about 2 years old but the batterys don't hold charge over night

Batteries require replacement. It has lost its holding ability. You can try replacing the batteries as the charge holding capacity is lost as per your statement.

Starter solenoid is makeing a clicking noise, fitted a new one and its still makeing the same noise

That clicking noise is an indicator that the battery is not fully charged. If the battery will no longer take a charge it needs to be replaced. Motorcycle batteries normally last two years. How old is your battery?

My laptop frequently going out of power for every 15 minutes it requires booting

By going out of power, do you mean the battery dies? Or is it shutting down even when it's plugged in?

Special equipment is necessary to check the battery of a laptop computer. The equipment will test the charging ability as well as the performance of the battery under the standard "load" of operating the computer. If yours is no longer holding a charge, or the charge lasts only a short period, it's very likely that the battery is simply worn out. Typically expect that if a battery is more than 2 years old, you'll be running out of life for it. Some batteries last longer, some much shorter. For example, Toshiba's Tecra series batteries seem to wear out and drain their charge quickly after about 6-12 months, needing a new battery.

If the battery is less than a year old, the manufacturers warranty may stipulate free replacement.

You may find a local computer repair shop that will test your battery for free since it's very simple for them to do.

Hope this helps, good luck!

Battery life?

Here is a replacement source

The batteries are covered under warranty for three years. Sony batteries are know for not keeping a good charge after a few years.

If there not holding a charge, they wouldn't appear on the LCD screen at all. I the AC power is working fine, then that probably isn't the source for not getting a charge.

You could try lightly scraping the contacts on the battery and see if that makes a difference and recharge them.

Mine won't hold a charge either. I've had it for about a year and used it about 6 times. I have the manual and it is no help. I guess the battery is bad after a year. What a bummer. Don't purchase this product.
