If it is a psc motor it may be a five speed..(most are) there is a wiring diagram usually on the back of the blower door, and a diagram on the motor isself to tell which speed is the highest speed (colored wire) the units are usually factory wired for the highest speed connected to the circuit board for "cool" it may be possible that it has been changed. also, if the run capacitor is bad, the motor will not come up to full speed, it may need to be checked and changed, and lastly, the filters, squirrell cage and evaporator coil cleanliness need to be verified.

Ac fan doesn't blow hard enough 1985 300zx

If very little air comes from the vents, the fan on the blower motor may be damaged, or there may be a restriction in the vents, or a blend door may not be open completely.

Ac fan speed

Replace the blower motor resister, this is the speeds for the blower motor,it is located very near the blower motor, and is mounted on the blower box,and it actually goes inside the box,to keep it cool. The reason for it`s failure is the blower motor, even though the blower motor sounds, and runs good,it is drawing too many amps.If this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

Check for a vacuum leak. The vacuum cannister under the evap. case will crack and cause a leak. I just install a new vacuum cannister, check valve and hose going to inside of van.

My blower motor doesn't blow air out the air ducts why

Check for a frozen cooling coil. Turn the fan to the on position at the thermostat and the cooling to off. Your cooling coil may be iced over. Allow it to run in the fan only mode until the coil has had a chance to defrost. At the outside unit you may see the large line is frosted. This is the visual indication for a frozen coil. When you return the A/C to cooling use it with the fan on while in the cooling mode.
