According to the user's guide, the fault code means that the boiler failed to start after 5 attempts. Here is the manual where I got the information. Not good! Probably motor control board or motor or wiring harness from control board to motor.

I'm getting an error code F28. The washer goes off after about a minute then stops.

What we have here is a failure to communicate!

F28 com error between motor controller and central controller.

F28 error / water starts to fill then quits in 15 sec's

F28 is a communication error which usually means there is a connection that has come loose.Check the wires on the control board.

Code f28

Hi, the error code F28 means one or both of these parts are bad.

Motor Control Unit (8540135)
Microcomputer Machine Control Unit (8540788)

It would be a good idea to order both, as both components have been problematic for error code F28. If you find either the MCU or the CCU(Microcomputer Machine Control Unit) fixed it.
