If There is no standby light on the unit lit when you apply ac power. chances are the main fuse in the power supply could be open, check with an ohmmeter with power unplugged and see if it reads open. If so, replace.

Rm46d does not run on 110 i have checked circuit breakers and there is power to te breakers does not appear to be power to fridge.

if it doesn't run on 110 then get the right voltage to make it run
if it needs 220-240 volts then obviously it will not work on 110 volts

How do i connect to 110 volt power source

if the unit is a 110 volts unit attach a 110 volts plug to the power lead and plug it into a wall socket
If you have to ask then get an electrician to do the job
If it not 110 volts utility supply then you will definitely need the services of an electrician to wire up a converter to the different power supply.

How do you change the voltage of a tv

The voltage that a set uses for power cannot be changed in most cases--if the set uses 110-120 Volts for power and you want to use it somewhere with say 220 volts--you buy a step down transformer which will convert it down to the lower voltage---if going from a source of 110-120 to a 220 source you buy a step up transformer.

It runs the battery down

Does your frig have 110, Gas and 12 volt setting? ... or is it auto select?

This is the way they should work ... if there is 110 Volts, it should run on 110 volts. The device is still controlled by 12 volts but the heat source is electric. If there is no 110 volts, it should switch to gas as a heat source. Same deal with the control, runs on 12 volts. If there is no electric and no gas, it should select 12 volts for a heat source ... same deal with the control. Problem with 12 volt source for heat is it GOBBLES up the power in your battery.

How is your battery? Do a volt test on the battery and the charger. Charger should run about 14 volts. Battery should provide at least 11 volts. If it is such that you can measure the acid, a good reading is 1200. Your charger can provide only about 15 amps charging power. Your battery should be able to provide up to 110 amp/hours.

If you do have electric and gas, it may not be your frig that is killing the battery ...

Thanks for your quesiton @

Why use 110 volt power tools and not 240 volt?

really, it's a matter of which power source you have most available. There are more places a person could use 110 versus 220, and support is better for them simply because they're more common. So if you have the 220 outlets in your shop or garage, then by all means, go for it, but don't be disappointed when you have to use them somewhere else and you can't find a place to plug them in.

Hi, i have a craftsman 5 hs compressor and it just started tripping breaker every time i turn switch on. it tries to run several seconds at partial power before actually triping breaker. i have checked...

if the compressor turns over freely then you have a motor fault its likley to be a short in the windings causing it to loos power and therefore pull more amps this in turn pops your brakers as it is a 5hp 110 volt motor will pull nearly 45 amps witch if nearly half the power that my house runs on (but at 230 volts i have twice the pushing power)

I purchased a used etx90ec. Two of the battery terminals are moderately corroded. The lights on the control do not come on and it doesn't work.

If you can clean up the battery terminals with sandpaper, then you will need to try an outside power source.

Buy either the 110 volt adapter or BETTER but a 12 volt power pack at Wal Mart (the kind you use to start a car) make sure it has a 12 volt cigarette lighter style plug.

You can buy either the 12 volt power cable or tthe 110 volt adapter from I never use the internal batteries, always a 12 volt power pack. The ETX likes steady 12 volt current.

If it does not work with the outside power source then something is burned out on the main board. You will need to return it to Meade for repairs. Here are several links you need. the 12 volt cable

some times they provide switch for 110/230 at the back side of monitor. but if you do not have that you can purchase converter which converts 110 to 230 volts ac.
