Question about LG Vu CU920 Cellular Phone

My 2 day old env touch swam in the ocean with me.

MY STORY beats all of yours. about 3 weeks ago my 3rd phone this year was stolen, for the 3rd time (which i only had of 2 weeks). it was a brand new alias 2(which i dropped in the toilet a baja fresh) :( i was so sad. So out of desperation i dipped into my savings and bought an EnV touch. :D. Everthing was great, i was happy, right? WRONG. two days later (last night) i was in malibu at the beach with 2 of my friends & we were looking for seashells, and these guys that were playing foot ball were trying to catch the ball, SLAM into me & knock my phone out of my hand just in time for a crashing wave to drench it in nasty sandy salt water. D:. i took the battery out right away, dried it thoroughly, and TURNED IT ON like a *******. a lot of times. i let it dry over night. didn't have rice so i used rice krispies. vacuumed it twice. everything works but the internal & beloved touch screens are toast. :(
idk if i should throw in the towel or let it dry longer, or just DIP yet another time into my savings and buy it again. somebody email me if you can HELP me. i'v had the worst week possible. i'v given up on men and my phone was my only 1 true love. advice is mucho appreciated (:

So sorry to hear about the bad week but I again have to tell you what you already know the phone is gone to phone heaven. the salt water will destroy the phone and led display no amount of phone CPR will bring it back. regular water is hard on a phone but salt water..well... I'm so sorry... but I will give you some good news. there is no need to give up on guys there are a few dysfunctional guys out there that don't know a good thing if it hit them in the head.. but all guys aren't bad

I have a 2202 Impala. Three weeks ago I attempted to start my car, nothing happened. No click,buzz..nothing. For about ten minutes I jiggled the key, put the key in and out of the ignition several times...

Yes, this your anti theft security failing. Its having a hard time receiving the transponder signal from your key. When it doesnt get this signal, it turns off the starter to prevent theft. It basically thinks its getting stolen so it shuts down. The problem is in the diagnoses. It might be the key, the ignition/lock cylinder, or the TDM computer itself. (Theft Deterrent Module) All are expensive and pointless to fix. Your cheapest route is to bypass the whole system and never worry again. The average life on these systems is 6-10 years. Here is a link with info and some DO IT YOURSELF ways to beat this.

My env touch's screens keep messing up.. bad

Verizon's policy to swap out a phone for different model is having it swapped out 3 times in 90 days for same issue. If you have had it done 3 within 90 days go into store and speak with manager and they will do what they call a multi FRU

With use of Jawbone, recipients on enV get voice echo

About three months ago I bought the LG En V touch from a verizon store. I planned to use it with my old "New Jawbone" and my new "Jawbone Prime". The phone would nto pair at first then when they finally got it to pair I had a variety of problems. Verizon technicians performe a number of different steps trying to make it work as it was supposed to. They even reinstalled the software after about a week and a half I persuded the Verizon stor manager to replace the phone with a new LG EnVtouch and they exchanged my Jawbone Prime also. The new LG EnVtouch had the exact same set of problems. Neither of these phones worked any better with the bluetooth in my Garmin NUVI either. I loved the design and the features but if it doesn't work why bother. I returned the second LG EnVtouch after aabout five more days of frustration. And went back to my old phone. If you buy one of these and it doesn't work return it fast and let them know what you think!
