The dishwasher door appeares to have no counter balance and one hinge seems to be adrift, is there a parts kit for this repair?

- I have the KitchenAid 24in. KUD101FLSS built in dishwasher, and the door has lost all resistance and slams open once the hatch is released. How can I fex this? The door used to have alot of resistance, and now there is none. Can I fix this myself?- adafamily

Need brand and model number. Number can be found on dishwasher area exposed when door is opened. Around edge.
