Question about Sears Craftsman LiftMaster Chamberlain Garage Door Opener Wireless Keypad Model 976LM Security+
I pulled the emergency cord to manually close the garage door. I like to know how to reverse back to automatic way.
Mikey-moore's advice helped me figure out what to do but it's not exactly what I had to do. Manually open the garage door all the way. Then hit the automatic button you normally would use to open and close your garage door. The bracket slides back and locks into place. Hit the automatic button again and the garage door should automatically close.

There should be a bracket, at about the point the garage was at when you originally pulled it. What the manual cord does is pull the "hook" ( for lack of a better word ) out of the bracket that is driven by the chain. Open the garage back up to the point it was when you closed it and you should hear it click back into the bracket.
