Hi, It sounds like there night be a venting issue. Make sure the vent is open all the way out. Make sure the vent in the outside wall is working proper. Make sure the flaps are opening.
If the vent is open, the next common gas dryer problem is the coils on top of the gas valve. When they start going bad, they work in the first part of the heat cycle and then stop opening the gas valve later in the cycle.
Please let me know if this has helped you or if I cna assist you further.

Thanks
Vic

A clogged or partially clogged vent . Especially if vents up thru the wall . If it vents straight out , make sure you have good air flow to the outside . Make sure the vent hose has no sharp kinks also . Try drying a load with the vent hose disconnected from the dryer . If clothes dry fine , that tells you the problem is elsewhere . Normally , a dryer either heats or doesn't heat . A heat for a few minutes then stops heating but continues to run complaint ,would be bad coils on the gas valve .

I have kenmore he4 dryer it dose not reach right temp it seems to be on low i put it on high it take for ever to get warm i cleaned it checked all i can with the same low temp i dont have manual can you...

check your vents real good inside and outside your home,, the most common problem is the vents,, if all are good, it could be the temp sensor, the the blower, or the main board not letting it reach the temp,, also check the gas inlet valve screen it might be clogged not letting enough gas through to heat it on high

I just bought a gas dryer - takes forever to dry clothes

check the high limit switch/thermostat on the burner housing and if they are weak they will cycle the heat off too soon and it wont build the heat you have it set for, just bypass it with a jumper wire to test it,if this is the problem, dont leave it bypassed, replace it as it is a safety feature to prevent a fire

My Kenmore dryer seems to have a mind of it's own on heating. Sometimes it heats very hot, sometimes little heat at all. It does not seem to matter what setting it is on, low, med, or high. Nor does it...

when was the last time you cleaned it out,try running it with the vent line removed, you need to clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into, vac out the inside of dryer where the motor is,if you have a shop vac put it on blow and blow off the motor and clean out the vent line and the outside vent,if the vent line is long i use a leaf blower to clean out the vent line, also is it gas or electric?next time send model number?if it's gas you could have bad gas coils, when they heat up they fail, clothes are warm at end of cycle.run the dryer for 15 to 30 minutes and check to see if the flame is still lighting if not bad gas coils.hope this helps

Extremely low drum heat but setting is on HIGH.

Electric (Kenmore - 60931) dryer takes forever (several cycles) lately to dry clothes set on high heat (actual heat in tub feels low though). There are no obstructions in the venting and the 240 volt connection is fine. The timer rotates the dial (timer motor working). Help!!!

Kenmore All in One?Dryer Heat Minimal?Excessive Dry time

be sure vent to outside is not plugged or partially block be sure vet tube in back is not compressed flat or folded basically be sure you have good air flow to outside to take the moisture to the outside away from the clothes

Kenmore 70 Series

You probably have an open thermal fuse, the dryer will run in some cases and not heat, Just moving air across you clothes will dry them however it takes forever.

If you are electrical or mechanical replace the thermal fuse yourself if not call someone you trust, you can purchase thermal fuses on line from Sears.com just do a parts search for you specific dryer.
