Trouble in the supply of the toner from the toner cartridge to the developer. Too much toner is supplied to the developer. Broken or disconnected wire in the ATR sensor.
Replace the drum unit (check its connections).

I need USER MANUAL (in English) for Canon iRC4580i Colour Copier

The manuals for the Canon iRC4580i are available from the Canon Europe site: http://software.canon-europe.com/products/0010352.asp . Scroll down to the seventh manual in the list for the English version. Click on the link (for me the link directed me to http://software.canon-europe.com/software/0035061.asp?model= ). Several manuals are in the .zip file that you can download at the bottom of the page. The User's Guide is the last file in the list (called CLC5151_USERS_ENG_R.pdf ). File Explorer gives the file size of 3,661 KB when uncompressed.

I hope this helps.
