Ussually these type of probs are really common. sometimes its becos its synchonyzing itself for the files. or its in charging mode. or the adapter itself needs to be placed properly in order not to move.

Some of mp3 player when we plug in to computer it requires the driver. But mostly is not so when you encountered your mp3 not recognized by the computer, try to use another USB cable. We don't know if the cable are bad or good, sometimes USB cable work fine and sometimes not. So use another cable.
