I have a homelite ST-145 weed whacker and it is leaking oil from the muffler. also it works ok after you clean the muffler and put a full tank of gas. But after a few minutes it loses power almost stalls. the fuel mix is 50:1 I think it should be 32:1 for homelites. I tried taking apart the muffler tightening it so it doesn't leak. I also looked it up and there isn't a gasket or anything for two muffler cover/pieces. and there maybe a tiny gap in the muffler cover. Is it the oil gas mixture or is there something wrong with the muffler or something else?
Found out the problem the muffle was plugged up by a mud wasp. Runs beautifully now. Although it does bog down some times when you first pull the throttle.
